GEO was formed in 2008 to address several opportunities in the global education sector. During his tenure as Director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid at the Wharton School, Thomas Caleel understood that access to education can make a fundamental difference in the course of a person's life, but that the opportunity to attend an elite top school depends on proper preparation and the complete understanding of the admissions process.

The GEO Advisory Group is a specialized advisory service for governments, multinational corporations, and large foundations. The Advisory Group works closely with these groups on a wide variety of issues, including maximizing return on scholarship programs, advising on globalization issues, enhancing global ranking of select universities, creation of internal evaluation and tracking systems for high performers, and other select issues as required. For each project, the Advisory Group relies on its robust global network of top decision makers in education, business, and government to create the optimal working group.

GEO is currently working with select clients in China Korea, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Dubai and the United States.
